The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is one of Canada’s most iconic celebrations of agriculture and equestrian sport, and we’re excited to once again bring Rookie Riders to the Fair this November 7–16!

Rookie Riders introduces children to the basics of riding through fun, interactive activities, and we rely on the support of enthusiastic volunteers to make the experience unforgettable. As a volunteer, you’ll be part of the action at The Royal, assisting Rookie Riders Instructors as they teach classes and engaging with young participants as they discover the joy of equestrian sport. You’ll also be supported every step of the way by Ontario Equestrian staff, ensuring you have the guidance and tools you need to contribute to the excitement of this world-class event.

Applications are due by October 8, 2025. Successful applicants will be notified of their shifts prior to the Fair.
